I really love Nia’s sessions. She is extremely attentive and in tune with what my body needs at every moment. I enjoy that I don’t need to talk too much about experiences but I’m encouraged to simply feel my emotions and release what ever emotion I need. She is deeply compassionate and inspires me to be so to my self as well.

Nia has been amazing to work with in regards to my anxiety and PTSD. Nia has got a wonderful ability to pin point areas that were clearly affecting me on a daily basis and propose solutions and coping abilities which have had a huge impact on my life. Nia’s personality is extremely welcoming and I found it very easy to build a rapport with them.

I have enjoyed it so far. Nia listens to what I say and brings good points/constructive words with her to the next session so it’s nice to feel listened to and acknowledged. We are trying different approaches to see what works for me and so far it’s been nice. Looking forward to seeing what else happens and hoping I can get into a better mental state :)

Since starting counselling with Nia back in early 2023, I have undergone many profound life changes. The great majority of these changes have been facilitated by the partnership established between myself and Nia.
I have let go of relationships with people who were jealous, envious, hurtful towards me, and in their place have come people that genuinely want the best for me. This came with many challenges, as I was continuing patterns of avoidance maintained from my childhood in an attempt to protect my negative self-view. Counselling with Nia has helped me acknowledge and understand these self-sabotaging patterns and find my own answers to remediating them.
After some time away from counselling, I have begun living more authentically, integrating the reflections facilitated by Nia's counselling. However, I have acknowledged (with the help of others) the shortfalls in my life that still remain. This has led me to return to Nia's counsel in hopes of diving deeper into my self-exploration.

Nia is brilliant at what she does. I've had 2 years of therapy before which helped but was mainly talking. Nia took a different approach with our sessions and offered a mix of talking and activities. The Tree activity has had a long term change on my self image, in a positive way and the meditation to find a safe space has been the most beneficial. I do find the meditation activities very uncomfortable in the moment as I feel silly closing my eyes, so I've had to work through that mentally but once I'm over the discomfort they are really effective and I'm glad I gave this alternative perspective to therapy and these strategies a try. Much more effective than just talking for long term changes and life skills. Thanks for your help Nia. I highly recommend giving a couple sessions a proper shot. Really forced me to be more open and tackle my issues.
